Steve founded Buckman Enochs Coss and Associates in 1979 after a successful career in medical sales management. He is one of the few owners of a search enterprise who has viewed the employment business from the hiring side of the equation. This perspective has enabled our company to grow around the understanding that the hiring manager and the hiring organization are our customers, and that we will do whatever it takes to assist them in the talent acquisition process.

Steve was a pioneer in initiating national sales force expansions, and many of the proven principles our company adheres to today were formulated under his leadership. He works only on exclusive assignments with emerging pharmaceutical and medical companies. More than 70 percent of the searches he spearheads for these firms involve vice president- or director-level positions.

Steve has served on the boards of numerous industry organizations and has been instrumental in helping start-up companies grow into national leaders. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.

Prior to joining Buckman Enochs Coss in 1999, Jon gained five years of diversified recruiting experience with a national staffing firm and with respected educational institutions. Medical, surgical and pharmaceutical candidates are his specialties. As Executive Recruiting Manager, he is responsible for hiring and managing our Associate Recruiters. Jon has the distinction of having chalked up more than $2.5 million in recruitment billings during his career. He holds a BFA Degree from Ohio Northern University.

Kirsten, who joined our team in 2004, concentrates on management and high-level sales specialists in the areas of cardiology, oncology, nephrology, rheumatology and neurology for leading global biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations. She fosters strong relationships with both companies and candidates in order to ensure the highest level of compatibility between the organization’s culture and the individual’s work experience. Tom started with Buckman Enochs Coss and Associates as an Associate Recruiter in October 2011. He concentrates in the placement of high level sales executives for healthcare IT, dental, and pharmaceutical companies. Tom comes from a real estate background having opened a real estate brokerage franchise selling over 80 residential properties. Tom graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate. While at OSU, Tom was a three time Scholar Athlete competing on the Track and Field Team.

Prior to joining Buckman Enochs Coss and Associates in 2016, Mallory worked with the Tenant Representation team at a national full-service commercial real estate firm.  Her skills and experience in maintaining relationships with over forty national retailers, as well as matching them with the perfect site to maximize their business, has helped prepare Mallory to source candidates as an Associate Recruiter.  She also uses her interpersonal and organizational attributes to her advantage when acting as Office Manager.  Mallory graduated with honors in 2014 with a degree in Paralegal Studies.
